The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Vijayawada, organized a webinar on “Role of Ayurveda Ahara and Innovations” as part of the 9th Ayurveda Day 2024 on 22.10.2024. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. B Venkateshwarlu, Assistant Director Incharge of the Institute. Dr. Rajkumar Chintala, Dr.B.R.K.R Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Hyderabad was the guest speaker for the webinar.
As per the directions from the Ministry of Ayush, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Vijayawada has organised a Press Conference by inviting the electronic and print media on 07.10.2024.

The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Vijayawada conducted an Institutional Ethical Committee meeting for IEC approval of new project and review of ongoing projects on 08.10.2024.

World Mental Health Day 2024 with the theme “It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace.” Dr. AJV Sai Prasad, RO-Incharge(Ay.), gave a speech to the staff, emphasizing the employers to collaborate in improving mental health at work.
Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Vijayawada EMRS team visited EMR school, Y Ramavaram on 18.10.2024. Awareness class was taken on ‘Ahara Vidhi Vidhana’ to the staff and students of EMRS, Y Ramavaram. Health check-up was done and incidental support given. Total 34 students are benefited.

Ministry of Ayush and CCRAS Hqrs, the various activities including exhibition and mini expo have been initiated at RARI VIJAYAWADA institute premises as part of forthcoming 9th Ayurveda Day Celebrations with Focal theme “Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health”. Important medicinal plants, dry herbs, IEC material etc. are displayed in the exhibition and awareness class on merits of Ayurveda and historical aspects of Ayurveda Day, various activities planned on the occasion of this 9th Ayurveda Day were detailed to OPD patients/attendants’ gathering, where approximately 40 beneficiaries visited the exhibition and attended an awareness lecture, delivered by Assistant Director Incharge.
NABH Fire Safety Training was conducted to all the staff of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Vijayawada. The guest speaker Mr. Naresh, Station Fire Officer, Autonagar branch, Vijayawada gave awareness class along with training to the staff of RARI Vijayawada on 19.10.2024. Total beneficiary- 65.

Swachhta Hi Seva, a cleaning campaign was conducted at Radha Nagar, Vijayawada by Officers and staff of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh on 21.10.2024.

Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Vijayawada EMRS team visited EMR school, Dornala on 21.10.2024. Awareness class was taken on hand hygiene , Iron rich diet and Menstrual hygiene to the staff and students of EMRS, Dornala. Health check-up was done and incidental support given. Total 38 students are benefited.

In connection with 9th Ayurveda Day 2024, Awareness Classes taken on ‘Relevance of Ayurveda Day’ and ‘Daily Regimen as per Ayurveda’ by Dr. Midhuna Mohan K, Research Officer, and Dr. T. Thri Swathi, SRF of RARI, Vijayawada on 22.10.2024 for the students and staff of RG Muncipal School. Also Quiz Competition was conducted to the High School Students of Rajeev Gandhi Muncipal High School, Rajeev Nagar, and Vijayawada. Total beneficiaries -95.
